Are you travelling in North-West Tasmania?  Would you like to participate in local community-based activities like penguin counting, or painting huts at Cradle Mountain?

The Helping Hands on Holidays program connects holiday-makers travelling around North-West Tasmania with community group volunteers who are caring for our beautiful natural resources.  Cradle Coast NRM and the Cradle Coast Authority are inviting you to immerse yourself in the local flora and fauna - and get to know the local people.

Activities range from a few hours to a whole day, feature all kinds of tasks for all kinds of ages and capabilities; what they have in common is a sense of community spirit, fun and connectivity to the local people and their environment. All tools and safety equipment will be supplied.
